CNC Machinist - Evening Shift

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LoneStar Fasteners is seeking dedicated and skilled CNC Machinists to join our 2nd shift production team in Spring, TX. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 4 : 00 PM to 2 : 30 AM, with potential overtime opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies, including Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance standards.
- Promptly report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
- Interpret blueprints or job orders to determine specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
- Setup and operate CNC Lathes and Mills, adjusting parameters as needed to meet specifications.
- Perform necessary program edits using Fanuc 18i, Okuma OSP, and Mazak controls.
- Inspect finished components to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Accurately complete required documentation for work orders.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and assist colleagues as needed.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 2 years of CNC setup and operation experience, with preference for candidates familiar with Doosan, Okuma, Mazak, or Swiss machines.High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree is a plus.Proficiency in basic reading, math, and measurement skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to interpret detailed work instructions and engineering tolerances.Experience using measurement tools (OD micrometers, calipers, etc.).Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for the entire shift.Physical capability to load / unload materials, lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.Specific vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.Manual dexterity is necessary to handle materials safely.WORK ENVIRONMENT
