As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, working closely with medical providers to administer both pre-operative and post-operative care. Become a key advocate for our patients, ensuring they receive an unparalleled experience as they navigate their healthcare.

Your Role Will Include :

• Assessing patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
• Performing medical procedures as directed by healthcare providers.
• Documenting care provided in the patient medical record in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Administering prescribed medications and closely monitoring patient responses.
• Staying informed about medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.

Qualifications :

The Neuro Progressive Care Unit specializes in delivering comprehensive care for stroke and seizure patients. As a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission and a designated Level 1 Time Critical Diagnosis Center of Excellence by the State of Missouri, Research Medical Center treats over 1,200 stroke patients yearly, providing superior recovery outcomes.
