Energy Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Energy Manager for a temporary assignment supporting clean energy initiatives and asset management. This contract-based role is ideal for contingent workers or independent contractors and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The Energy Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to advance the organization's energy strategy and ensure operational excellence across renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update documentation and data related to clean and renewable energy contracts.
  • Monitor counterparty compliance with contractual milestones and deliverables.
  • Support issue resolution in active contracts and project operations.
  • Track and analyze operational performance of clean energy projects.
  • Evaluate financial performance of renewable energy assets.
  • Oversee project progress through development and construction phases, leading risk reporting against schedules and forecasts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 24 years of experience in contract or asset management within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and energy contract management tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clean energy contracts, asset management, and U.S. energy markets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
