Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate per-diem PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is key in supporting patient recovery after surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The ideal candidate has a strong background in post-anesthesia care, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement all physician orders and provide continuity and quality of nursing care
- Continually assess patients' conditions and respond promptly to clinical needs
- Monitor patients emerging from general anesthesia and / or sedation
- Assist physicians with procedures using conscious sedation and sterile technique
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient and family readiness for discharge
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
