UTILITY TECH A Utility Tech will perform various building maintenance tasks throughout the facilities as instructed by supervisor and/or customer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (including but not limited to) - Building Repairs and Maintenance – Painting, small appliance maintenance, pest control, roof/floor/carpet cleaning, trash disposal for mechanical rooms, general cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and work areas.
- HVAC - Clean and replace air filters, maintain air quality, read gas meters.
- Furniture and Accessories – Relocation of furniture, desk, file cabinets and other office equipment, install or remove office items, office furniture repairs, cubical relocation and repair, repair of work surfaces.
- Meeting/Events – Room set-up including room/office furniture configuration.
- Plumbing – replace water fountain filters, installing seats, stalls, unclog drains, repair facets, maintain waterless urinals, and all other minor repairs.
- Relocations – move equipment, boxes, office equipment within same building or to another site.
- Compliance with all company’s safety policies/procedures in compliance with OSHA.
- Demonstrate role model behavior for safety, integrity and ethical standards consistent with standards.
- Maintain high standards of workplace organization.
- Conduct daily audits to ensure completion of scope of work and promote continuous improvement.
- Measure standards to ensure performance to goals and objectives.
- Support various job sites as instructed by Supervisor.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Prior Experience: - 2-3 years maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
- Commercial and/or industrial equipment experience.
- Mechanically inclined and experienced with various hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Good computer and typing skills.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required.
- High School Diploma or GED.

- Required to talk and/or hear in a commercial setting.
- Required to stand and walk for entire shift.
- May be required to kneel, climb, lay down and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting requirements – up to 50 lbs.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception:
