Faculty Position : Genitourinary Pathologist
The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a GU Pathologist to join the Department of Pathology. The candidate will participate in routine sign out activities of the GU Pathology Service. In addition to a division specific focus, the position will include responsibility in general frozen section pathology. The candidate will have excellent opportunities for translational research and an established focus is highly desirable. Opportunities also exist for personal direct expert consult compensation. This position offers the potential for meaningful leadership roles within the department, including opportunities to contribute to strategic planning, mentoring junior faculty, participating in committee work, and leading initiatives aligned with departmental goals. Candidates with demonstrated leadership experience or interest in academic administration, program development, or faculty engagement are encouraged to apply.
Requirements :
Successful applicants must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology or have board certification eligibility. Experience in an academic multi-disciplinary university clinical setting is preferred. An established track record of academic pursuit is highly desirable. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida is required. Candidates must have completed a GU Pathology fellowship or have at least five years of experience in the subspecialty.
