The LSUHSC Cancer Center is seeking faculty members who are committed to excellence in research that addresses biology and treatment of cancers that disproportionately burden the residents of Louisiana. The Cancer Center is actively pursuing NCI designation. Leveraging significant support from the State of Louisiana, Louisiana State University (LSU), our hospital partner, LCMC Health, the Louisiana Cancer Research Center (LCRC), and donors, we have a dynamic strategic plan that will achieve this goal. Faculty candidates should posses demonstrated expertise in (but not limited to) technological innovation, cancer-relevant molecular and cellular biology, genomics, epigenetics, infectious etiologies, tumor immunology, obesity, and / or cancer therapy development.
