The Program Coordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.
The HVAC Program Coordinator will have a hand in:
- Instructional Delivery (minimum 20 teaching hours per week)
- Student Service
- Subject Matter Expertise
- Faculty Management, Mentoring, and Training
- Program Administration (inventory, scheduling, etc)
Position Requirements:
- Required Massachusetts licensing: Current Mass Oil Burner Technician Certificate, EPA License preferred
- 3 or more years of recent work experience as a licensed HVAC Technician or similar position; not including apprenticeship
- 3 years’ classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- 3 years' of successful leadership and management experience preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
