Rate : $62.70 / hr

Patient Information

Patient Demographics : Adults (primarily psychiatric patients)

Patient Volume / Census : Varies by ECT and Behavioral Health caseload

Rounding : Yes in behavioral health units as needed

Phone Consults : Possible (psych consult support)

Case Mix : Adult inpatient behavioral health Psych consult service Emergency Department psychiatric cases ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) patient coordination

Facility Information

No. of Beds in Facility : 150500 (Acute Care Hospital)

EMR System : Epic

Office Equipment Available : Standard hospital office / clinical equipment (TBD)

Specialty Backup Available : Psychiatry Nursing ECT clinical staff ED team

Support Staff Available : RNs Physicians Behavioral Health Team

Reason for Coverage : Quick start supplemental staffing for ECT / Behavioral Health

Required Procedures

Behavioral health assessments

ECT patient coordination (preferred)

Psychosocial evaluations

Crisis intervention

Treatment planning and documentation in EPIC

Job Requirements

Licenses : Active California LCSW (or MSW if allowed)

Certifications : None specified

Experience : Minimum 2 years acute psychiatric experience

ECT experience preferred

Ability to float to adult inpatient psych psych consult service and / or ED

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide clinical social work services in ECT and psychiatric areas

Conduct psychosocial assessments and care planning

Support ECT team with patient preparation coordination and follow-up

Collaborate with psychiatry nursing ED and behavioral health staff

Document all patient interactions in EPIC

Float to other behavioral health units as needed
