Inventory Control Associate

PrideStaff is currently seeking a Inventory Control Associate for a large distribution company located in the Joliet/Elwood, IL area. You will visually inspect the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have cherry picker experience along with cycle counting experience.

7:00am-3:00pm Mon-Fri
+ OT as needed

$19.75 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts, location audits and physical inventories as required
• Operating in Warehouse Management System
• Investigate and resolve location inventory discrepancies
• Accommodate customer special project needs
• Safely operate Forklift (stand up), EPJ and/or other machinery in order to complete tasks: Reach experience is a plus
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates in order to complete tasks
• Provides and inspires outstanding service to customer by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience using RF Scan technology
• Warehouse Management System knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must be able to pass a background investigation
• Any equipment operation is a PLUS!!! (EPJ, forklift, etc.)
