Job Purpose
This position serves as the primary technical expert for the organization’s network infrastructure. It is responsible for shaping the technical strategy and establishing architectural standards to ensure the network’s stability, performance, and security. The role leads the execution of major network infrastructure projects, provides high-level technical guidance and mentorship, supports the operations team as a technical lead, and defines best practices for network design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Seven years of progressive experience in network engineering or architecture, including deep hands-on proficiency in design, architecture, and implementation of complex LAN / WAN / Cloud networks and demonstrated leadership in technical projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in an Information Technology discipline. 8-10+ years of total career experience, including both directly and indirectly related IT roles that have built a strong foundation in technical infrastructure and team leadership. Experience with Extreme networking and wireless equipment, network-based video surveillance, and voice over IP technologies. Industry-recognized networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, Extreme Networks certifications) are preferred.
Work Hours
Regular Hours 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Additional hours if / when needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 16.
