Salary : $27 - $30 DOE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining and reconciling payroll, responding to inquiries, posting and depositing checks, and general support of the accounting and support services team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process payroll
- Post payroll related vendor invoices
- Maintain required payroll related reconciliation
- Respond to payroll related inquiries
- Vendor statement reconciliation
- Post client checks and process deposits
- Reconciliation of cash and credit card accounts
- Post and track trade A / P invoices
- Attend financial meetings as required / needed
- Support the Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant in various tasks or projects
- Support other miscellaneous administrative tasks in support services
Education / Experience :
Associates degree in accounting, finance, or related field OR 2 years of accounting experience (internships included).Skills :
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and payroll systems (ADP, Bamboo, Etc...).Working Conditions :
