Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for gathering appropriate information to properly fill out blister packs for patients' prescriptions. You will maintain accurate records of medication dispensed to patients and interact with co-workers and pharmacists to resolve any discrepancies and improve processes. Additionally, you will secure protected health information and required paperwork to comply with regulatory requirements and ensure the department abides by OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations pertaining to company standards. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and sufficient prescription inventory levels when ordering products for the pharmacy is also a key part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Gather appropriate information to fill out blister packs for prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed.
• Interact with co-workers and pharmacists to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Secure protected health information and required paperwork to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas according to company standards.
• Order and maintain sufficient prescription inventory levels.
• Receive and store incoming products and supplies, including counting, stocking, and entering computer data.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in medical insurance processes.
• Pharmacy technician certificate.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Customer service, retail, or manufacturing experience
• In-house certification and training available for interested candidates.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 1:30pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends and additional weekends as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, WI.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Green Bay,WI.
