Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure setting. Routine patrols and high visibility are key, as is providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a vital role in building trust and rapport with those on site, contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Fri 11 : 00 AM - 09 : 30 PM

Sat 11 : 00 AM - 09 : 30 PM

Sun 11 : 00 AM - 08 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and / or critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns, reporting any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment appropriate for a tech, media, and telecom setting.
  • Follow all site-specific and company protocols while maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
