Job Summary

Under the direct and indirect supervision of the Practice Manager and Clinical Manager, you will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate IVF and REI procedures. Collaborate with the team to meet daily scheduling needs, take part in on-call rotations, and use your analytical judgment throughout your work in both the IVF lab and REI nursing area.

Conduct comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, compiling medical histories and preparation needs for successful patient care. Regularly monitor patient conditions, adapting care as necessary, and utilize the ALDRETE score consistently.

Maintain a safe working environment, demonstrating competence with emergency procedures and proper drug administration under physician orders.

Foster clear and respectful communication with all team members, patients, and their families regarding procedures and care plans.

Follow Prisma Health guidelines for thorough nursing documentation and ensure all consents and charts are appropriately managed and updated.

Educate patients and families about procedures, enhancing their understanding and ensuring informed consent.

Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules according to patient and physician needs, addressing any challenges proactively.

Participate in rotational on-call duties and demonstrate effective critical thinking and resource management during call events.

Engage in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental enhancements.

Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities

This role is non-management, reporting to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

Education : Associate degree in Nursing.

Experience : One (1) year Clinical Nursing Experience in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

Current SC RN License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Preferred sedation and monitoring skills.

Preferred experience with IVF equipment.
