We’re looking for a Product Manager to take Pump from a scrappy, high-performing team to a world-class engineering organization.
In under two years, we’ve scaled from $0 to $XXM+ ARR with just 9 engineers. Now we need the right leader to help us scale to $XXXM+ ARR and beyond.
Our mission : Automate cloud cost optimization with AI, making human-driven cloud consulting obsolete. Our customers save ~60% instantly on AWS, GCP, and Azure costs. We’re growing fast, competing (and winning) against well-funded incumbents, while building an efficient, scalable business without bloated sales teams or overpriced consultants.
What You’ll Do
- Tool Proficiency : Use product management tools (Jira, Trello, Aha!, Figma) and data platforms (Looker, Tableau) to streamline workflows, manage projects, and visualize insights.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development : Define and drive the product vision, aligning with Pump’s mission of reducing financial costs for businesses. Build and maintain the product roadmap informed by market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to bring products to market, ensuring alignment across teams for successful launches and ongoing evolution.
- Data-Driven Decision Making : Leverage analytics and KPIs to evaluate success, identify opportunities, and guide continuous improvement.
- Agile Product Management : Lead sprint planning, manage backlogs, and oversee the product lifecycle using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
What We’re Looking For
Education : BA / BS in a technical or analytical field.Experience :
5+ years in product management, OR3+ years in product management plus 1+ year as an engineer or applied data scientist.Proven track record managing software products end-to-end : vision, prioritization, design, and go-to-market.Strong leadership skills to guide small teams of engineers and designers toward a shared goal.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to evaluate trade-offs while staying hyper-focused on customer value.Comfort working with large datasets and applying insights to decisions.Benefits
