About the role :
This is a newly created role in the Asia Pacific region with the mandate to drive positive change. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific, we are looking for a dynamic FP&A Specialist who can play a leading role in a positive change program and contribute to managing the businesses financial results, strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. This position requires business partnership and communication with senior leadership and will participate in or lead financial planning and analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision. This may include analysis of the industry and competition, scenario planning, customer / channel profitability, continuous improvement, and return on investments.
Based in Eagle Farm in Brisbane, you will be responsible for partnering with the APAC teams providing reporting, analysis and business insights. This may also include pricing oversight and customer incentive management. At RWC we operate as one global team, so you will be part of a broader group of finance professionals located in the UK and USA.

What you will need to do :
Play a leading role in financial forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis for the region
Participate and lead relevant areas of the strategic plan, annual budget, and rolling forecasts
Ensure there are appropriate tools and processes in place to effectively prepare forecasts
Understand and evaluate drivers behind reported variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods
Communicate results and forecasts effectively inside and outside of the finance team
Partner with senior leaders to interpret results, provide insights and recommendations
Liaise with the broader finance team to facilitate period-closing processes
Prepare ad hoc analysis to evaluate business cases, scenario outcomes and capex requests.
Lead and participate in strategic initiatives identified as part of strategic planning process
Partner with sales team and S&OP team to prepare detailed forecasts of revenue and gross margin
Assist with creation of annual sales and expense budgets across all distribution channels
Ensure sales team is equipped with appropriate tools and reporting to make informed decisions
Oversee customer incentive evaluations, accrual tracking, and timely payment
Evaluate customer and product margin regularly, providing analysis and recommendations
Partner with product management teams to compile product roadmap financials
Track new product sales performance against defined targets
Manage and regularly update, and communicate the regional pricing policy with key stakeholders
Leverage enhanced pricing analytics to identify opportunity and make recommendations
Review pricing requests and manage the pricing approval process
