Medical Lab Technician

The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine tests in a medical laboratory to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Minimum Requirements :

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program and successful completion of national exam administered by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology preferred and may be required per state / contract

One year experience as a ML required unless certified as an MLT in state practicing

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
