Essential Job Duties:This position works in the Pharmacy service for the Veterinary Hospital. The incumbent ensures safe, effective, and legally compliant drug therapy. Serves as the final check when dispensing inpatient medications, outpatient medications, cytotoxic agents, and compounded preparations to all customers of the VH pharmacy.

Other Work/Responsibilities:Current enrollment or completion of a two year pharmacy technician training program.
Prefer experience working in a veterinary pharmacy in a veterinary teaching hospital.
Competency in inpatient cartfill, outpatient prescription filling, sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Omnicell maintenance, and pharamcy drug pre0packing.
Ability to complete veterinary prescription orders.
Good customer service
Good computer skills
Prefer previous working experience in a veterinary pharmacy.
Required License or Certification:Current enrollment in or successful completion of a two year pharmacy technology associate program with eligibility for CphT certification.

Anticipated Hiring Range:$50 - $60.00/hr
