About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 3 years of high acuity hospital experience required License : Registered Nurse license required Certifications : BLS and PALS certification required Must-Have : Strong Pediatric ICU experience required. General cardiac experience required. Telemetry experience required. Description : Join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team. Provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families. Work in a state-of-the-art 21-bed unit. Care for patients with various medical and surgical issues. Common conditions include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, and cardiac anomalies. Experience with organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO is essential. Candidates must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Strong Level II experience at a high acuity facility will be considered. Available shifts are every Friday through Sunday, from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM. Travelers may be scheduled to float to other units based on staffing needs. Requirements for telemetry competency must be fulfilled. Candidates must be prepared to manage a patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in a variety of nursing skills related to pediatric care. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing patient care needs.
