POSITION SUMMARY :
The primary purpose of the Environmental Services Technician role is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services and Laundry Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Performs routine cleaning assignments in resident living and / or common areas.
- Perform all duties in an independent manner with little or no supervision.
- Perform day-to-day EVS functions as assigned in a safe efficient manner.
- Remove all trash and linen for the campus.
- Report burned out light bulbs, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, etc.
- Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., when requested.
- Ensure that work assignment areas are clean and that equipment, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times throughout the day, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and end of your shift.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent - requiredValid Driver's License - requiredGeneralized knowledge in the use of EVS equipment - preferredPrior knowledge of floor stripping, burnishing, and carpet cleaning- preferredA FEW OF OUR BENEFITS :
