Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 01 / 13 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details : Multiple shift options available : 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts Guaranteed hours : 40 hours per week for 8 and 10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts Weekend coverage required Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Patient ratio of 4 : 1 for days, nights, and weekends Float within scope to meet facility needs required Work in Cardiac and Medical PCU - True ICU Stepdown unit with 27 beds Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions Handle heart caths, BiPAP, cardiac and vasoactive drips Manage medications including Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, and Amio Required certifications : ACLS, BLS (NIHSS preferred) Required skills : Telemetry, IV start, cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, and High Flow Oxygen Level I, II, III, or IV certification required Preferred experience : Vents, Charge Nurse experience, Conscious Sedation 18 months of experience required Indiana state license required and must be in hand prior to start date Dress code : Red top, black bottoms Charting system : Cerner Free parking provided First-time travelers accepted No on-call responsibilities Unit does not accept travel pairs Facility : This 194-bed short-term acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on cardiac and critical care.
