Position : Quality Manager

Location : Nashua, NH or Santa Clara, CA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom / Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. The position will be located in either our Nashua or Santa Clara site location (depending on the candidate's location).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage product and process quality, with a primary focus on new product introduction as well as legacy volume production, to meet customer satisfaction and business unit metrics.
• Monitor and analyze quality related data with other quality engineers or quality managers and make recommendations for improvement activities at all manufacturing locations, driving measurable results aligned to business level goals.
• Lead or facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across both engineering and manufacturing organizations.
• Drive unified quality metrics within multiple manufacturing organizations and related supply chains
• Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review, process capability / control review with manufacturing locations, and participating in development engineering phase gate management review activities.
• Responsible for quality planning of customer programs by leading cross functional teams in a global capacity.
• Responsible for business unit level quality metrics and improvement initiatives; involves monthly reporting and review with the BU leadership team.
• Responsible for managing all quality related aspects of customer and supplier relationships, including management of both customer and supplier corrective action processes.
• Drive customer and supplier quality related communication and presentations.
• Execute group level quality directives.
• Perform regular quality toolbox training with all quality teams.
• Develop and implement quality training for other individuals and groups that are not directly focused on quality engineering.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessment of quality events at OEM / CM facilities as required
• Domestic and international travel up to 50%
