We have Supervisor positions available at Angell Boston on Day Shift and an additional Evening Shift position.

Angell Animal Medical Center of Boston and Angell West in Waltham are both looking for full time experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisors to join our renowned, state of the art Emergency and Critical Care departments . There is an opening on our day, evening shift. There is a $10,000 sign on bonus for Certified Veterinary Technicians hired for this position!

Qualified candidates will have previous supervisory or leadership experience and experience working in emergency veterinary medicine. We are looking for applicants who want to increase their knowledge and skills to grow professionally, who thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment, and love teaching in a positive, patient and dynamic manner.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in the hiring, training, and coaching and performance evaluation process for all ECC Service Staff.
• Create work schedules, prepare payroll, and process personnel records for Inpatient Service Staff.
• Must have a working knowledge of complex diseases in order to provide nursing care and develop and train member of the ECC team.
• Assist clinicians in triaging, stabilizing, and providing high quality nursing care to patients and offer instruction and demonstration to veterinary students, interns, residents, and other technicians.

MSPCA-Angell West, a 24-hour emergency and referral satellite hospital in the west suburbs of Boston, was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. We are an AHAA Accredited Referral Practice. Our hospital is over 20,000 square feet, is recently renovated, and is located 10 miles west of Boston in Waltham.
