Are you skilled at analyzing and improving the intricate cost structures of global cloud infrastructure ? Do you excel at blending deep technical insights with sophisticated financial modeling?
We are on the lookout for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Cost Strategist to lead the evaluation of our infrastructure's financial performance. This position is crucial for managing and modeling our substantial CapEx and OpEx related to cloud environments, data centers, and network operations. You will play a key role in developing advanced cost models that guide strategic decisions, major investments, and competitive client / vendor pricing.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Cost Management : Take ownership of enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness across our global cloud infrastructure.
Infrastructure Cost Modeling & Analysis : Create, maintain, and apply advanced quantitative models to forecast and optimize CapEx, OpEx, and profit / loss impacts regarding data center, network, and server infrastructure.
Strategic Deal Cost Modeling : Deliver essential financial insights to support and structure large-scale strategic deals and client agreements , ensuring pricing strategies are both profitable and competitive based on precise infrastructure costs.
Strategic Advisory : Serve as the primary financial and technical advisor on infrastructure investment assessments, capacity planning, and initiatives aimed at operational efficiency.
Minimum Skills & Experience
A BS / BA in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in finance within the tech, cloud, or infrastructure sectors.
Advanced Quantitative Modeling : Proven ability in complex financial and quantitative analysis , especially related to infrastructure CapEx, OpEx, and P&L in a major technology organization.
Technical Infrastructure Fluency : Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including data center operations (experience with AWS, Azure, GCP , or familiarity with networking OEMs / providers is a plus).
Significant Cost Structure Management : Hands-on experience advising on or managing substantial, multi-million dollar cost structures related to technical infrastructure.
Strategic Problem Solving : Ability to work independently, adapt to shifting business priorities, and deliver solutions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications
Deal Pricing / Contract Modeling : Previous involvement in complex deal pricing or financial modeling is favorable (training available for candidates with solid core infrastructure finance skills).
Strategic Agreement Insight : Experience providing financial or cost insights within large strategic contracts or vendor agreements is beneficial.
Process Excellence : Strong ability to identify improvement opportunities and lead the enhancement of financial and operational processes.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $84,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
