Junior Video Editor Job at Cella in Arlington

Location : Arlington, Virginia. Job Type : Contract. Compensation Range : $30 - 35 per hour.

Our client is looking for a Technical Junior Video Editor to support the team's Senior Editors. Their day-to-day will have a heavy emphasis on ingesting footage, setting up projects, sourcing and organizing b-roll and stock footage at the start of a project. This is a hybrid position in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities : They will support a wide range of projects. While there will be a chance they may take on some lighter editing work, this is not the primary focus of the role. Down the road, this person could progress to a full Video Editor.

Qualifications :

• Experience working with Premier and Media Encoder.
• Experience working with a DAM or file storage collaboration program - i.e. LucidLink. Iconic.io is a plus.
• Experience creating proxies.
