In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you will be hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. Responsibilities as a Behavior Support Specialist :
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential by reviewing treatment plans, executing therapy sessions, collecting data, and applying feedback from supervisors during observations.
- Engage children through fun therapeutic activities that promote their development.
- Collaborate with a team to enhance treatment, ensure safety, and create an enjoyable working atmosphere.
- Connect with children through play and activities—whether it's running, dancing, singing silly songs, or reading books, your enthusiasm will foster a joyful environment.
- Communicate effectively and positively with stakeholders, including peers and families, to coordinate activities and celebrate successes.
Job Requirements :
Physical Capability : Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend over, squat, move quickly, and engage actively with young children for safety and energetic interaction.Maintain a conducive therapy environment by ensuring the play areas are tidy, organized, and enjoyable for children.Demonstrate multitasking skills to manage various tasks, decisions, or conversations while prioritizing safety.Work cohesively with your team across the center and neighboring locations when required.Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or GED equivalent.You will complete the RBT certification within 20 days of employment by passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, registering for an exam, and passing the exam.

Associates / High School : $20.00 - $24.00Bachelors : $20.00 - $25.50Masters : $20.00 - $28.00Entry-level candidates will earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
