Cook- Special Venues

Smashburger Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare guest orders forone or more special venue locations which could include sporting arenas,concert venues, etc.
• When special venues arenot operating, work with local market to support corporate locations in theback of house
• Be a menu expert, followSmashburger’s prep and menu recipe standards to prepare guest orders
• Must be able to read andprepare food orders and receive verbal instructions and cook food according tothose instructions
• Team work! Must be ableto work with others on the line and communicate effectively with GSEs andmanagers in a busy restaurant environment
• Have pride in maintainingcleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment and counters at all times
• Follow checklists andproven systems to set up, stock and close the kitchen
• Operate large cookingequipment such as grills and deep fryers; must be capable of using knives andslicing equipment
• Foster and value a safework environment by following all personal and food safety and securitystandards
• Values integrity and doing the right thing, even when no oneis watching
