Job Title : Construction Laborer / Apprentice
Pay Rate : $22–$25+ per hour (DOE)
Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire (Opportunity to Convert to Permanent)
Location : Spokane Area Homes (30–45 minute commute radius)
Schedule
Monday–Friday : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
Overtime & Weekends : Available as needed; opportunity for additional hours
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Laborer to support residential construction and home improvement projects in the Spokane area. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, learning a skilled trade, and working directly in clients' homes. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be trained directly by the owner (Tom) and, for strong performers, potentially grow into a long-term leadership or business operations role .
Key Responsibilities
Perform general labor duties including cleaning, organizing, lifting, and moving materials
Assist with construction and flooring installation (training provided)
Load, unload, and transport materials safely
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Provide professional, customer-focused service in high-end residential environments
Learn construction techniques and trade skills over time
Eventually assist with light administrative tasks such as processing mail, invoices, and basic paperwork
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 65 pounds or more repeatedly
Comfortable with physical, hands-on construction work
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
Qualifications
Prior construction or labor experience preferred (not required for the right candidate)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a trade
Basic computer proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills
Customer-service mindset and professional demeanor
Must be presentable and well-groomed
Reliable personal vehicle required
Dress Code
Jeans and closed-toe shoes
Clean, well-kept appearance required due to higher-end clientele
