RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Purchasing Assistant | Procurement

Process purchase orders and requisitions.

Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules.

Maintain procurement records.

Desired Qualifications For Purchasing Assistant | Procurement Candidates :

13 years purchasing or administrative experience.

High school diploma or GED; associate's preferred.

Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with 245 activities 245 Functional Area Activities.

Organization, vendor communication, MS Office.

• Accuracy, reliability, customer service orientation.
• May assist with inventory tracking.
• Prepares basic bid comparison summaries.

Reports to procurement manager or buyer.
