Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced
Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter and Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform fire sprinkler work for tenant improvement jobs, test fire sprinkler systems and repair fire sprinkler deficiencies in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is analytical, with attention to detail and experience with NFPA code compliance. Applicant must have cleaning driving record, be drug free, able to lift 50+ pounds, and climb ladders. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Responsibilities- Read schematics and determine what materials you need for each project if required
- Cut and assemble pipe systems
- Install sprinkler systems and inspect them for fire code violations
- Perform sprinkler repair and maintenance
- Log all repairs and maintenance and report major issues
- Communicate with customers and office to ensure smooth running jobs / projects
- Order / gather materials as required
Qualifications- Experience with maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems
- Blueprint reading and inspection skills
- Experience using power and hand tools
- Physical stamina
- Knowledge of NFPA 13D/R, 25, and state / local codes
