Plant Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our this role you will oversee and support a 24 / 7 operation to ensure that production is efficient safe and cost-effective while meeting quality standards. This role involves strategic planning resource management and team leadership acting as the crucial link between the plant floor upper management and all other functional groups.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Operations Management : Plan organize direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet or exceed customer expectations and production goals.
• Safety and Compliance : Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols and ensure all operations comply with local state and federal regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
• Quality Control : Establish and maintain quality control standards ensuring all products meet required specifications and driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
• Production Planning : Develop and coordinate manufacturing schedules optimize workflow and allocate resources (personnel equipment raw materials) effectively to achieve production targets and on-time shipping.
• Financial Management : Prepare and manage operational and capital budgets analyze costs and implement cost-reduction measures to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Staff Leadership : Recruit hire train and manage plant personnel including supervisors and production workers. This involves motivating the team resolving conflicts conducting performance reviews and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Maintenance Oversight : Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and the facility to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Reporting and Analysis : Collect and analyze production data and performance metrics (Key Performance Indicators) to identify areas for improvement and report progress to the organization.

Education and Experience

Organizational Skills : Exceptional ability to multitask prioritize and manage complex operations and schedules efficiently.
