A fire alarm installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in various settings like residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Their duties include assessing fire safety needs, designing systems, installing components like sensors and control panels, testing and inspecting systems, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. They also troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and educate clients on proper usage.

Responsibilities

• Assess fire safety needs and design appropriate fire alarm systems.
• Install components such as sensors and control panels.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, replacing faulty components as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
• Educate clients on system functionality and proper usage.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00 / yr. Health, vision, dental, 401k with match, PTO, vacation time.
