Patient Care Technician PRN
Mountain View Surgery Center of Scottsdale is hiring a Patient Care Technician PRN. The role is set in a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Tuesday and Thursday coverage is needed.
Job Description and Duties
- Provide direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
- Maintain a clean and orderly patient care environment.
- Assist during patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs, provide nutritional intake and report results and observations.
- Demonstrate the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and / or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Qualifications
Medical Assistant or clinical training preferredOne year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified is preferredKnowledge of patient care charts and patient historiesPatient interviewing skillsAbility to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocolsKnowledge of patient evaluation proceduresAbility to perform routine invasive procedures, such as venipuncture, and EKGAbility to maintain quality, safety, and / or infection control standardsAbility to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation#J-18808-Ljbffr
