Waste Technician : Driver Helper Needed!

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Waste Technician. This position involves meeting at the shop every morning and traveling in a truck to various client sites to dispose of waste materials, such as paint, construction supplies, and chemicals. Candidates should be prepared to report to the office between 5-6 AM depending on the day's schedule. The job requires travel across western NC and South Carolina, with most trips being day trips. However, candidates should be open to working one overnight per month, for which they will receive a per diem and hotel accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Meet at the shop every morning and travel in a truck to client sites.
• Dispose of waste materials including paint, construction supplies, and chemicals.
• Report to the office between 5-6 AM based on the schedule.
• Travel to various locations in western NC and South Carolina.
• Work one overnight per month with per diem and hotel accommodation provided.
• Collaborate with drivers and work as a team to complete tasks.

Work Environment

The role involves driving to various client sites, including manufacturing facilities, research labs, construction sites, universities, and office buildings. Expect to work an average of 10 hours a day from Monday to Friday, which includes drive time to sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 / hr.
