The Specialty Pharmacist Coordinator at Cedars?Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is responsible for leading excellence for our growing specialty pharmacy program. The Specialty Pharmacy Coordinator is responsible for the development, and implementation of pharmacy services that advance clinical, operational, financial, safety, and regulatory performance, with a specific focus on specialty pharmacy and ambulatory pharmacy analytics and reporting. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, the coordinator applies data?driven methodologies to improve specialty pharmacy operations and monitor payer formulary and access changes. This position ensures compliance with accreditation standards and serves as a bridge between clinical pharmacy practice and enterprise business objectives to improve patient access and sustainable program development. In addition, responsibilities include identifying prescribing trends, monitoring specialty pharmacy capture rates and growth opportunities, performing analytics and financial reporting (including revenue and cost?savings analyses), overseeing billing for pharmacist services, monitoring quality and safety outcomes, engaging with external stakeholders regarding payer and limited distribution drug access, and managing data reporting to third parties such as accreditation bodies, drug manufacturers, payers, and contract pharmacies.

Educational Requirements

• Graduate Degree Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy Minimum.
• Post Graduate Year PGY1 and / or PGY2 residency or Health?System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency.
