Overview
Corner Resources is seeking a Pension Administration Specialist with strong analytical skills and benefit administration experience. This role supports all aspects of retirement plan operations, including processing applications, managing requests, maintaining records, and partnering with vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of attention to detail, and critical thinking ability.
Key responsibilities
- Administer pension plan applications, estimates, distributions, and participant updates with accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a liaison between employees, retirement vendors, and internal HR / benefits teams to resolve plan and eligibility issues.
- Assist with vendor management, data validation, and reporting across multiple benefit systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retirement and pension plan inquiries from employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Process pension calculations, estimates, distributions, and benefit elections in accordance with plan rules and regulatory guidelines.
- Partner with external vendors and third-party administrators to resolve data discrepancies and maintain accurate participant records.
- Support audits, reconciliations, and reporting for retirement and pension plans.
- Ensure all documentation and transactions comply with ERISA, IRS, and SEC requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (required).Minimum of + years of experience supporting retirement or pension programs in a corporate or HR setting.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.Strong understanding of defined benefit and defined contribution plan operations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.CR
