About The Position

License : Active RN License required

Certifications : BLS required; ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

Must have experience working in a large, urban hospital.

Must have experience with EPIC charting.

Must be prepared to float within the scope to meet facility needs.

Description :

This is a 20-bed critical care unit that provides care to critically ill patients.

Staff is expected to provide expert care for various medical illnesses including respiratory failure, kidney failure, liver failure, overdoses, and septic shock.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1 : 2-3 during days and nights.

RNs should be prepared to care for up to five Med Surg patients.

Travelers must meet the facility's holiday and weekend shift requirements.

It is a 100% nicotine-free facility.

All applicants must provide documentation regarding licensure and other compliance requirements.

RNs are required to wear designated scrubs with the facility's logo.

Additional care teams include CNAs, care techs, and transport teams.

All candidates must have prior experience in critical care nursing settings.
