Accounting Administrator

Description of the Role :

Almost Family is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Administrator to support our financial and administrative operations. This role is essential to ensuring accurate payroll processing timely billing efficient accounts payable management and smooth day-to-day financial workflows. The ideal candidate is dependable analytical and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

As an integral member of our administrative team the Accounting Administrator will handle core accounting tasks assist with benefit enrollment and eligibility verification and provide general office support. This position plays a direct role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our ability to deliver reliable compassionate care to clients in Oregon Colorado and California.

Responsibilities :

• Payroll Processing : Prepare review and process payroll accurately and on schedule ensuring compliance with company policies and wage regulations.
• Billing Processing : Support timely and accurate billing functions including record maintenance and coordination with internal teams.
• Financial Support : Assist with general financial tasks reconciliations reporting and maintaining organized financial documentation.
• Accounts Payable (AP) : Process vendor invoices verify accuracy maintain AP records and support timely payment workflows.
• Benefits Administration : Support employee benefit enrollment eligibility verification and qualification tracking in coordination with HR.
• General Office Support : Assist with answering phones and providing administrative support as needed.
• Additional Duties : Complete administrative accounting or operational tasks as assigned by supervisor or management. Responsibilities are not limited to the above list .
