Description
Essential Functions :
- As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a variety of general maintenance and repair duties to maintain the overall care and upkeep at our various properties. Other responsibilities include :
- Perform general building maintenance including the inspection and performance of maintenance of common areas, building exteriors, tenant suites, roof, supply closets, mechanical rooms, vacant spaces, grounds, parking lots and any other building areas that need maintained.
- Snow removal at assigned properties.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and service contractors; schedule, coordinate and manage work performed by outside vendors and contractors as needed.
- Drive to assigned properties and various locations as needed.
- Maintains cost effectiveness in building repairs and equipment.
- Oversees completion and documentation of work orders, ensuring accuracy and detail about materials, labor, and equipment.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Adheres to all safety, risk management, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Able to be trained in general maintenance for basic troubleshooting, repair, building and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work on-call hours per on-call schedule.

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.1-3 years' previous experience in general maintenance preferred.Experience with basic electrical systems, product manuals, schematics, troubleshooting and reading mechanical and electrical drawings a plus.Previous experience in maintenance, HVAC, or general repair knowledge & techniques a plusPhysical Requirements :

Salary
$18 - $20 per hour
