As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver - Retail in Columbia, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with customers and staff, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns in and around the retail premises.
  • Assist visitors and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
