Role details :

Were looking for a passionate and hands-on Shift Supervisor to join our team at the Shepparton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on the 3pm 11pm afternoon shift where you will have the opportunity to make a difference and grow within your role in the business.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager youll play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly safely and to the highest quality standards.

What youll do :

  • Manage a diverse and experienced production team of 15 to meet shift targets and uphold safety and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly to ensure production demands are met
  • Ensure site meets audit requirements for FSSC and HACCAP standards
  • Manage day-to-day performance attendance and training of your team
  • Work with union representatives to address employee concerns constructively and promptly.
  • Oversee onsite WHS and drive continuous improvement across safety quality and compliance

    • What youll bring :

  • Leadership experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment including capability in managing performance issues
  • Experience rostering allocation labour dealing with agency temps leave approval and skills assessment and role allocation
  • Familiarity with shift operations and dynamics in managing a team
  • Solid understanding of GMP HACCAP or FSSC environments and audit requirements
  • Proficiency in problem solving manufacturing issues ideally within an FMCG environment
  • Safety first mindset with awareness of safety compliance and requirements
