Job Title : Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Experience : Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia

License : New York License (or willing to obtain)

Certifications : ECHO Board Certified and / or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained, BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start)

Must-Have :

  • Willingness to work across multiple campuses.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
  • Open to H-1B visa candidates.

Job Description :

  • Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
  • Work at a high-volume inpatient heart center.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute.
  • Assist in handling cardiac and vascular cases, with no involvement in obstetric or trauma cases.
  • Be part of a call rotation of 1 : 5, with first call every eighth night, with no second call.
  • Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases.
  • Not required to supervise CRNAs.
  • Participate in a well-established and reputable practice known for providing compassionate care for over forty years.
