[job_card.job_description]Enjoy a focused schedule with no clinic hours, dedicated to inpatient and outpatient scheduled procedures (e.g., ERCP, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy). Work a flexible schedule of 3-4 days per week, with rounding hours from 7 : 30 AM to 2 : 30 PM and call responsibilities from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM on assigned days (call is not based on a ratio). Benefit from an on-site lab and E-ray for efficient patient care. Perform both outpatient GI and internal medicine procedures as needed. Expect to see an average of 12-14 patients per day. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for seamless documentation. Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology is strongly preferred. A confirmed date for taking the boards is mandatory. An active Illinois state medical license is required. Current COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification are preferred. Follow up with your assigned patients to address any pathology needs and results.
