We are seeking a Surgery Scheduler for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. This role involves obtaining CPT and ICD-10 diagnosis codes and other clinical information, preparing documentation for patient notices, determining O.R. time needed for procedures, ensuring scheduling packets are correct and timely, and coordinating provider clinic and facility schedules. The ideal candidate will also refer conflicts and procedural questions to the Practice Manager, attend required meetings, and cross-train as back up to other business office positions.
Qualifications include a high school degree preferred, minimum one year of experience in a medical office setting, and BLS may be required.
