Job Summary
Handle a wide variety of personnel duties related to plant administration and operations in support of the People & Culture Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the P&C functions and duties, including social media platforms for internal communication.
- Coordinate P&C projects and events (NHO, team members’ roundtables, meetings, surveys, reviews, etc.) and take minutes.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, such as data entry and document control / distribution, in a framework of strict confidentiality.
- Compile, maintain and update team members’ files / records.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc.).
- Support the P&C team by providing help with team members’ requests regarding P&C issues.
- Determine which issues require immediate attention and communicate to leadership any deviations from established procedures.
- Assist the P&C team with Leave of Absence Administration (FMLA, Workers Comp, Personal Leave of Absence, Maternity / Baby Bonding, etc.).
- Support with payroll processing, and hourly team members’ attendance monitoring.
- Support the rest of the leadership team as needed.
Required Education & Experience
Minimum education level : Associates
Years of experience : 1-3 years
Preferred Education & Experience
Preferred education level : Bachelor's
Years of experience : 3+ years
Field of expertise : Human Resources; Manufacturing / Distribution; relevant industry experience
