SQL Server Application DBA (Raleigh, NC)

We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the automotive Industry. This is hybrid role in Raleigh, NC.

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SQL Application DBA with strong expertise in query tuning and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing database performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting application teams to ensure stable and efficient database operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization.
  • Analyze and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
  • Monitor database health, capacity, and resource usage
  • Support application teams with database-related issues
  • Implement best practices for indexing, execution plans, and SQL coding.
  • Ensure database availability, reliability, and security.

Required Skills :

  • 10+ years of experience as a SQL DBA or Application DBA.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL Performance & Tuning DBA and performance analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server / Oracle / similar).
  • Experience analyzing execution plans and resolving performance issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

  • Location : Raleigh, NC
  • Duration : 6 months Minimum. High possibility of extension.
  • PayRate : $55 / hr. W2 OR $60 / hr. C2C.
