Hourly Pay Range :

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sterile Processing Manager - Sterile Processing - Days

Position Highlights :

  • Position : Sterile Processing Manager
  • Location : Naperville, IL
  • Full Time / Part Time : 40 hours a week
  • Hours : Monday-Friday, Days, 24-hour coverage as needed
  • Required Travel : May be asked to assist other locations-as needed

What you will need :

  • Education : Bachelor degree, 3 years SPD experience or 3 years OR experience; or Associate degree with 5 years SPD or OR experience; or High School Diploma or GED with 7 years experience with 2 of the 7 years as SPD or OR Supervisor
  • Certification : Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Leadership Certification thru CBSPD must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience : 5 years SPD / OR experience and familiarity with surgical instrumentation. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

    • What you will do :

  • Promote effective team relations within the unit and across other departments in addition to fostering an environment that promotes strong decision making and problem solving by staff.
  • Develop strong relationships with other departments and senior leaders to promote staff collaboration, efficiencies and results.
  • Insures quality control and efficient production of processed products in line with Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
  • Implement process improvements based on data / information received via reports & procedural areas.
