Global Logistics Manager
Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) is seeking a Global Logistics Manager, responsible for the global planning, execution, and governance of transportation and logistics operations supporting commercial aircraft programs. The Global Logistics Manager ensures compliant, cost-effective, and on-time movement of aerospace parts, assemblies, and materials across international supply chains.
The position requires strong expertise in global commercial trade compliance, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and multimodal logistics execution, including air freight, ocean freight, and expedited shipments. The Global Logistics Manager works closely with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and external logistics partners to maintain delivery reliability while complying with all international trade regulations.
All activities support commercial aviation programs only; no military or defense work is involved.
To be qualified for this role, here's what you'll typically need:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline
- 7+ years of experience in logistics or transportation management within aerospace or complex industrial manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), international shipping execution, and air and ocean freight operations
- Solid understanding of global trade compliance principles
- Experience working in multinational supply chains
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aerospace industry experience supporting commercial aircraft programs
- Experience managing AOG or time-critical logistics
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020
- Exposure to SAP
- Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing sites
As the Global Logistics Manager, you will:
- Define and execute a global logistics strategy
- Own the transportation management systems (TMS)
- Manage air and ocean freight operations
- Facilitate global trade compliance and regulatory management
- Manage Incoterms and contractual logistics
- Manage supplier and logistics service providers
- Manage budget and cost
- Manage risk and improve supply chain resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Report on KPIs and continuous improvement measures
- Oversee compliance, audit, and documentation control

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $120,000.00$170,000.00 Annually
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
