1st Class Marine Welders

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced 1st Class Marine Welders for a project located in Newport News, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $45 / hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope :

  • Multi-pass, all position fillet & butt welds using various processes
  • Heating oxygen / propane heating torch
  • Air carbon arc gouging

Requirements :

  • Ability to properly use fillet & butt weld gauges
  • Experience working in a physically demanding environment, shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, staging etc
  • Must pass various weld test
